It all started in the dark and dreary winter of 2011. Dud Muurmand came to Stockholm and brought passion, humor, feathers, hats and sticks. 

Seduced by the sheer fun of it eigh ladies decided to keep shaking tail feathers together and founded Påfåglarna (the Peacocks). Anna-Karin, Ellinor, Helen, Maria G, Maria H, Maria S, Maria T och Vanessa all had different backgrounds in dancing, but all had a passion for having fun when dancing.   

Påfåglarna combine bellydance technique with the extravaganza of theathre and burlesque shows to create dazzling entertainment. We call it Burlesque Fusion!
