This workshop is only open for you who buy Full Weekend Package.

 

The dancer(s) will present a short piece (max 2 min) of dance work created by her/himself in front of the class. It will also be possible to present duet / small group work.

 

If the choreography is longer than two minutes, the dancer can choose which fragment to show – it is not possible to go through longer pieces at this ws, but it is however important that it is a dance piece created by the dancer/group themselves!Dud will after first presentation of a piece, comment and make input with the focus on the dramatic set-up, use of space, interpretation skills etc.

 

The dancer may also present questions or personal reflection to his/her own work.After comments and inputs - the dancer(s) will try to incorporate these new inputs and dance the piece again one more time on stage. All comments will be made as suggestions that the dancer can use as she find relevant.

 

The rest of the class will watch each presentation/comment session and the class will also get a chance to discuss a bit on each piece. It is very beneficial to watch other dancers process as you can relate many topics to your own dancing/dramatic presentation.

Dud will present some “tools” on how to give constructive feedback as well, so the group will learn from this as well.

 

BRING: props and costume pieces essential to your dance piece. You are much welcome to dance in full costume, but please dress before class.

 

Upon registration – or latest 4 weeks before this weekend, please inform about your dance piece to be presented: solo/group – music – style.
